Family owned olive oil company Locally from Livermore, CA on Patterson Pass. The estate blend contains a variatal combination of Spanish olives, Hojiblanca, Picual, and Arbiquina. Hojiblanca has a medium robust intensity and an aroma reminescent of fresh cut grass and apples. The piqual has an aroma of wheat grass and taste of green vegetables with a medium body and a sweet buttyery taste but finsihes with a peppery kick that gives it an extra layer of flavor. Arbiquina has a sqeet almond flavor with a slight peppery kick. Combining these three gave Birch Creek an award winning oil.
